Luanda has a very rich cuisine, coming from European and African influences. Due to its location by the sea, fish and seafood are extremely popular, do not forget to try the shrimp and tilapia of Luanda.

The best restaurants are near the see si what about watching the sun set against the backdrop of Luanda Bay and enjoy great food and enter the festive atmosphere of the Angolan capital's nightlife with live music bars and African rhythms.

The rhythms like kizomba, semba, redita and kuduro mark the night. Most bars, restaurants and nightclubs are within the city limits or on Cape Island or Ilha de Luanda

The restaurant offers very good quality food, at a good price, directly on the beachfront.

The menu variety is not huge which a allows them to prepare and serve the food with there heart, also the setting is really nice

Very original and unique space, prices are reasonable, service is very responsive and the hamburguers are awesome and super original, I was mesmerized by the fact that I could feel the in the burguer the Angolan flavor,

the marinated meat add to its originaly!

Overall, Art'Burguer's specially offeres grat meals, good service and

delicious deserts.

You might not enjoy the sea view on this one but it has good food and very exquisite and private spot. One of the best options in town, for a classy and quiet dinner. Good wines and all sort of champagne. It is extremely hidden from the normal eye yet easily accessible Be sure to book ahead as this venue requires reservations. The restaurant is nestled in a quaint house which has been transformed into a fine-dining experience. Each room is arranged in order to serve different patrons. The first area is a quiet hall with small couches and pillows, followed by the more intimate setting of the living room which features romantic lighting and coupled tables. The lively dining area is found on the large downstairs patio at the back of the house, complete with abundant seating. The decor is as much playful as it is meticulously designed. The perfect food coupled with the great atmosphere makes Nikki’s House one of the best restaurants in Luanda. (source)

Kook differs from other restaurants not only because of ambiance and kitchen’s ability to

consistently keep the menu evolving and the choices diverse, the ingredients that Kook uses are domestically produced. Most of the fish, except for cod and salmon, come our national waters, and the fruits so often used in the delights of the house menu are from our land. The tasting menu offers a variety of dishes and explores the marriage of seafood and fruit. It is already a reference and it remains the best sushi in the city, sushi selections are what they are immensely popular for among another local restaurant. Kook’s kitchen continually brings new dishes into the dining room. Parking, attentive room service, elaborated, refined and wonderful tastes dishes, make this restaurant one of Luanda’s very best. I truly recommend especially if you want to get away from the busy city center

Restaurante Vitrúvio

A visit to Restaurante Vitrúvio would not be complete without making a selection from this impressive wine list. The restaurant is hailed as the best Italian in Luanda. Offer an a la carte menu. The restaurant has knowledgeable waiters and sommeliers I would describe the service as a 5 start service, a diverse Italian menu and uses only the highest quality ingredients for their recipes. The prices reflect this premium service. One taste of the incredibly smooth, silky pasta dishes and diners will understand why Vitrúvio’s is considered to offer the best Italian in town.

Espaço Luanda

Although Espaço Luanda’s main focus is grilled meat , the restaurant has one of the most diverse menus you’ll find in the city, divided into several sections including appetizers, cheese and cured meat platters, soups and salads, carpaccios, fish, seafood, and pastas, and several desserts. On weekends they serve tradicional food so if you are interested in trying this is the place to go.

Kitanda da Esquina

True standout the eclectic menu, which carries in it influences from Portuguese, Brasilian, and Angolan courses. The result: fusion cuisine. It’s here that okra and calamari go hand in hand to those who appreciate it, and the lobster moqueca is right at home next to the muamba de galinha, which in turn is accompanied with parsley rice; caramel tart served with a traditional Angolan peanut dessert rounds out the meal.
