Surf guiding with professional surfer will take you to the best waves near Cabo Ledo, that area covers more than 9 surf breaks, perfect places to relax because there is nearby several bungalows with fantastic conditions: playground, beach facilities, bars, pool and a delicious restaurant area, perfect relax after a intensive dar surfing.

Cabo Ledo

On of my favorite places to camp and surf ! A little bit further down for Cabo Ledo is Praia dos Surfistas (Surfer’s Beach). It’s without a doubt the cheapest option. Praia dos Surfistas is the cleanest, most well organized beach, it has trash cans, a parking spots, and team of locals who take care the beach and ensures you well-being. It even has a dedicated program that studies and protects the egg of sea turtles which are laid in this area. It’s common to see others camping around, but occasionally you will have the beach to yourself. This experience is a luxury.

Just 80 kilometers south of Luanda the same direction of Cabo Lebo, you’ll find Barra da Kwanza. This surf spot is ideal for a day trip, but is hard to find. With a 10-minute walk to the beach, this spot has a right and left break, and although a bit rocky, is ideal for all surfers

Beach. This small cove has a beautiful beach which is fondlhttps://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/ambriz+beach+angola/@-7.8542885,13.0828707,13z/data=!3m1!4b1 referred to as “paradise on earth” by the locals. The beach also has great waves with a left break, and is ideal for all surfers no matter what your experience.

Just north of the small airport of Ambritz, you’ll find a white sand road that leads to Ambriz Beach. This small cove has a beautiful beach which is fondly referred to as “paradise on earth” by the locals. It has great wave suitable for all surfers.

Located in western Angola, Benguela is ideal for someone looking for a surf holiday or those coming to the country on holiday. With loads of hotels in this area and stunning beaches, it makes a great area to spend time with family. Although the surf is pretty average and small, you’ll be surrounded by the amazing beauty of Angola.

At the beginning of the Mussulo Sand Pit, you’ll find a surf spot that features a shipwreck. But if you swim out about a hundred meters from the shore, you’ll find a sandbar that creates powerful waves and a left beach break. This surf spot is also known for strong onshore winds and for sharks, so it’s only for experienced surfers.

It might seem like a weird place to surf because of the adjacent island, but Chicala has great waves for beginners. The area can be easily reached from Ilha.

55 kilometres outside of Luanda (past Shipwreck and Buraco) is Miradouro. With a left point break, becarefull here haves are huge and strong, therefore if you are not a professional you probably want to get away from the water.
